Few expect an Asian Food restaurant to have a wine list with more than just a few obvious bottles of wine. Those few don’t number amongst the Indochine faithful though! Indochine diners have come to expect a great wine selection, and Indochine delivers!

Over the past four years, we have read and researched hundreds of wines, selecting panoply of wines from vineyards around the world. We boast an inventory of over 185 different wines, representing all the major varietals and all the major growing regions in the world.

Here are a few fun facts about Indochine wines:

• Our oldest wine is a French dessert white wine, a Sauternes from 1998, delicious.
• Our youngest is an Argentine Malbec from Mendoza, 2008.
• Our wines represent 32 distinct varietal of wine.
• Our wines represent the 10 major growing regions in the world.

Our wines are selected for their relevance to our cuisine, their own personal quality characteristics, and for the overall manner in which they fit into the inventory and onto the wine list.

Our most successful wine of all time
Of all the wines we’ve researched, tasted, swirled, sniffed, and of course poured for customers, the most successful has undoubtedly been the Townshend Cellars T3. This is a spicy blend of Cabernet, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, which are the top three of the traditional blending grapes from France’s world renowned wine growing region Bordeaux. This Bordeaux comes locally however though from Washington’s own renowned wine growing region Columbia Valley. This wine speaks directly to the success the Washington State wine growing region has found internationally. Washington wines consistently rank amongst the world’s best and Washington is now considered amongst the world’s few top growing regions.

Townshend Cellars is a family owned and operated winery in Colbert Washington. Their T3 blend reached cult status in 2005 and we are proud to serve it now and for as long as they craft it!
